Know where your parents' important papers are, before you have to find them.

Photograph or upload their will, super statements, insurance policies and certificates. Legacy Locker reads each one, files it in the right drawer, and tells you which dates have passed or are coming up.

Each document is read and filed in the right drawer.

The problem

An open sideboard drawer crammed with old folders, bundled letters, a passport, keys and a pair of reading glasses.
  1. Your parents' papers are in a drawer, a safe, their email and their memory.

  2. If one of them dies or can no longer manage their affairs, you are the person who has to find everything.

  3. Today you don't know what exists, where it is, or what has expired.

What Legacy Locker does

  1. Step 1

You photograph or upload each document.

Use your phone camera, or add PDFs, photos, Word and Excel files.

  2. Step 2

Legacy Locker reads it and files it in the right drawer.

Wills, Super, Investments, Banking, Property, Insurance and so on. You don't type anything in.

  3. Step 3

It lists the dates that matter.

For example: a super death benefit nomination that has expired, or car insurance due for renewal next month.

  4. Step 4

You ask a question and it answers from the documents.

For example: “Who gets the super?” The answer shows the document it was read from.

How your documents are kept safe

These are wills, passports and bank statements. This is exactly where they go and who can open them.

  • Stored in Sydney

Your files and data are stored in Sydney, Australia.

  • Encrypted with your account's own key

Your files are encrypted with a key that belongs to your account alone.

  • Never sent to a public AI service

Your documents are never sent to a public AI service such as ChatGPT. They are read by a private AI that runs in Australia for Legacy Locker only. It does not keep your documents after reading them, and nobody outside Legacy Locker can see them.

  • A password alone is never enough

Every sign-in needs a second step: a code from an authenticator app, or Face ID, fingerprint or Windows Hello.

Every view, upload and deletion is recorded in an activity log that you can read.

How to try it

  1. Request access.

Enter your name and email. We'll email you when your account is ready.

  2. Create your account and press “Load sample drawer”.

Setting up takes about two minutes: confirm your email, then set up an authenticator app or a passkey. Then watch a made-up family's documents get read and filed.

  3. Add your own documents if you want to.

You don't have to. The sample drawer shows everything Legacy Locker does.
